The Nautel Updater and Manager is a set of Windows applications that check for software and documentation updates for Nautel (GV, VS, NV, NVLT and NX Series) transmitters.
Nautel Updater
Automatically checks for software and documentation updates and advises you when new software is available and the importance of the update via a pop-up window.
Nautel Manager
Lets you manually check for software and documentation updates.
Once you’ve been notified of an update, either automatically or manually, you can choose to download the update and then install it on your transmitter.
The Nautel Updater and Manager runs on any desktop or laptop PC running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 Software with internet access. It does not require access to your transmitter or AUI to operate. This enhances security.

NV Transmitter Note: You will need to determine the exciter in your NV transmitter. For assistance in determining what exciter was shipped in the NV transmitter, contact Nautel Support [email protected].
Multiple Transmitters Note: If you require updates for multiple transmitters, you can either download each Transmitter Software individually, or you can download the ‘All Transmitters’ software. Please note that if you do this, you will receive updates for ALL supported transmitters which is currently GV, VS, NV, NVLT and NX Series transmitters.
AUTOMATIC UPDATE NOTIFICATION
Software and documentation updates for your Nautel transmitter automatically appear in a ‘pop up’ window on your computer’s desktop when they become available.
Note: The Nautel Updater runs as a background task where it polls a server located at Nautel. When Nautel posts updates to the server the Updater detects them and posts a ‘pop up’ window with the update information on the computer where the Updater application is running .
DOWNLOAD UPDATE
Once you’ve been notified of an update, either automatically or manually, you can choose to download the update whenever you’re ready.
The Nautel Manager will retrieve the software or documentation update from the server located at Nautel.
INSTALL UPDATE
As a final step, the software or documentation update can now be installed on your transmitter.
The following transmitters are supported – GV, VS, NV, NVLT and NX Series.
